Healthy Vegan With Bad Digestion?

Hey friends! 

I'm so excited to finally have my youtube channel LIVE! 

I've posted two videos, check them out before reading the rest of this blog post. 

Of all topics I could have started with I'm shocked that I chose digestion. What a personal topic! If you would have told me 3 months ago that I'd be writing a blog post predominately about my bathroom habits I wouldn't have been able to keep a straight face...but here we are. 

For the past several years I have been on a mission to feel GOOD. I want to make every day as jam packed with energy and life as I possibly can, and that requires a well maintained mind, body, and soul. 

Digestion is a cornerstone to wellness. All parts of our being have a digestive system. Our mind has to digest thoughts and feelings, our soul has to digest inner guidance, and our body has to digest food, sensation, and stimulation. 

This month I've decided to really hone in on my physical bodies digestion because it is SO OUT OF WHACK. I haven't had a regular bowl movement in weeks and I DON'T KNOW WHY! As a vegan who aims to eat whole foods, it baffles me that I of all dietary choices, am experiencing such discomfort. I bloat after almost every meal, I never feel satisfied, and I'm either praying I'll go to the bathroom finally, or that my stool would get it's shit together ( see what I did there). 

SO the game plan is as follows. 

1. use my 7 Day Digestion Tracker to track any signs and symptoms of indigestion. 

2. talk to my doctor to get his opinion on my symptoms

3. research more about how hormonal birth control interacts with a females digestive system

Next Thursday the 7th I'll be posting another video on youtube giving a full update on what happened that week and what I'll be changing in my lifestyle to hopefully aide in regulating my bowl movements and digestion.
